Executive order #002Published with the full support of the Executive Government of Equinox.Adopted government policy to further renew the region of Equinox.
“This policy is about giving our MPs more of a say and clarification on the future of this government.
Firstly,
We will embark upon formal treaty negotiations with Caer Sidi once a new Taoiseach is elected. This will strengthen our ties within the region and allow us to build new connections with one of our closest ally’s.
Furthermore,
If permitted by the speaker the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs will attend a question time relating to the treaty to insure it meets the needs of MPs.
We will pledge to oversee a drive in recruitment through encouraging MPs to recruit in greater numbers and will also increase the amount of ministers to add a ‘Minister for regional recruitment’ to help energise this area.
More importantly we will work with the admin team to create a welcoming crew which will welcome and integrate new citizens into the parliament and RP sectors depending on their personal interests.
We will create a constituency map for equinox that will have one constituency for each MP that MPs can claim and also name in order to introduce RP to parliament allowing MPs to create lore for their constituencies. This will be introduced along with a pledge that our party will hold meetings with our fellow MPs to attempt to found a sustainable opposition party to effectively oppose labour in parliament to get a real dialogue back up and running.
The PMs office will also work with the department for Regional Development to open a news broadcasting service to energise the citizens of equinox and keep them up to date with what’s going on in government.
The government will also work on the Regional Message Board to conduct polls and engage in conversations about how to develop the region shifting away from parliament to get instant feedback about how best we can serve you to make your life easier and give you the tools you need to succeed.
.
Labour believes in each and every citizen, we belive in you.
We belive that it is the duty of the government to carry out the wishes of it’s citizens that’s why we called this referendum. We could have completed the things above without calling you to the polls but, enough is enough.
You didn’t get to vote in the last election because there was no opposition to our plan and today we announce that we are giving you the chance to vote yes, the chance to choose your future.”
This is the original policy that was intended to be put to referendum. The government does not feel that the region is in a place where a referendum would be possible due to an inactive parliament. The government waited to hear response from MPs for two days before publishing this order however we received no response, further indication that parliament is simply not able to approve this necessary legislation in a timely manner. The speaker has also been unable to call the bill to vote due to personal reasons and due to the absence of a Deputy Speaker the government has not been convinced that parliament would have received the opportunity to vote in the near future.
If MPs wish to proceed with a referendum on the bill at hand the executive government has no objection to facilitating he referendum that was previously agreed on, if the speaker is so inclined to allow such referendum.
Signed: The Right Honourable Prime Minister Brí Shakespeare M.P.
